5' x 8' Dump Trailer FAQ
What size truck do I need to tow the 5' x 8' Dump Trailer?
At just 3,500 lbs GVWR, this is the lightest and most towable trailer in our fleet. Most modern half ton trucks can tow around 10,000 lbs, and all of our units are under that weight. You'll still need to factor in the weight of your load plus the trailer, and confirm your specific truck's towing capacity. We can help you figure that out when booking.
How does the hydraulic dump feature work on this trailer?
This trailer uses an electric hydraulic dump system, so you simply engage the lift and the bed raises to empty your load, no shoveling or manual tilting needed. The 2' sides help contain loose material like mulch, soil, or debris while you drive, and the trailer is equipped with electric brakes, so your tow vehicle will need a brake controller.
How much does it cost to rent, and do you deliver?
